Participant 3: Terror Budgees! Buzz! Host shakes his head dissapointedly   Does this seem anyway familiar at all? Then you might have seen Family Feud sometimes. Family Feud is an american game show whith Steve Harley where two families have to compete to get the right answers to difficult questions. The only thing is that often there is no right answer! Several weird, crazy and hilarious questions were asked to a large control group of people and the eight most given answers are 'on the board'. The two teams have to guess what these answers are. The more popular the answer amongst the control group, the more points you get for guessing that answer. So now we are going to do this with All Terrain as some sort of themed game night.   The event will be Friday 11th of October in the evening. It will be at Bram's place, Ajaxlaan 29 Eindhoven. Due to the available room and seating a maximum of 20 participants can join. Estimated price for the evening is €5 p.p. 

The OSMO is back with another workshop. This time we're going to teach you how to ride a mountainbike. This is a very valuable skill that you will be able to show off on most AT weekends. It's also really fun to bike around and see the most beautiful parts of Eindhoven. For only 10 euro per workshop you get a mountainbike, a helmet and an experienced mountainbiker who will teach you the tips and tricks to become a better mountainbiker. If you have a mountainbike yourself you can join for free! So subscribe now! There will only be 15 available spaces per workshop, and they will run out fast! We will start at 18:00 and end around 21:00. The meeting point is on the Op Noord terrain. During our trainings we often built some obstacles ourselves like the monkeyhang or the tires under the bridge. Since the trainers have a lot on their hands they will not hesitate to ask us to help them build these obstacles. Of course it would then be nice if we know of to build them i.e. what knots to use and how to make these. Therefore it is time to teach everybody the ropes to knotting. Ofcourse this is also for people that have been to knotting courses before and want to refresh their knotting knowledge. As usual the course will be given by Guy and Stijn. In the evening of monday 30-9 we will teach you rope maintenance (how to make sure the ropes don't wear down fast) and some basic knots. Then in the evening of the next monday, 7-10, we will teach you some more advanced knots that are used widely throughout obstacles for survivalruns. Both evenings will be held at Guy's place where you are welcome from 18:30.  The event is free and a few snacks and drinks will be provided. It is important that as much people as possible know how to knot and how to keep the ropes from degrading. Therefore we really recommend you to be at both evenings.

Our sister association Simius Hircus organizes the Utrecht Survival Run on the 28th of September. The run will take place on the Uithof campus of the University of Utrecht. The 6km version is aimed specifically at beginners, so everyone can join. If you want a bit more challenge, the 9km is the way to go. Both the 6km and 9km can be done in couples, and the 6km run can even be done in groups of up to 5 people.

The standard mode of transportation will be public transport, but if there are enough cars available we can travel by car. This can be helpful for the people that do not have free OV anymore.  

After a good summer break, the survivalrun in Udenhout takes place. It is a great opportunity to lose the extra weight that you gained during summer. For the ones that want to start off easy, you can participate on Saturday 21st of September:

• - 5.5 km recreative - 7 km recreative or competitive (1 point)

For the diehards among us, the run on Sunday 22nd of September is more applicable.

• - 12 km recreative of competitive (2 points)
• - 12 km in pairs of 2
• - 12 km in a group of 4

To pay the normal price, one should subscribe before 19-08-2019. Extra costs have to be paid when subscribing after this date. Not only the All Terrain Challenge is our own adventure race, but it is also the oldest adventure race in the Netherlands, this year being the 17th edition! The All Terrain Challenge is an 8-hour race in the Eindhoven area. You can expect mountain bike, canoe, running and kickbiking stages. And of course a few special tasks, but they remain a surprise and are different every year. During every stages you will be orienteering, you will have to draw control points on the map, and try to find as many of them as possible. For those who can't orientate so well, you can always blame your teammate if things go wrong! ;) It is intended as a fun recreational race. Our route has been set up in such a way that it is a nice introduction for the "less trained participants", but it is also known as a real puzzle among our regular participants, and it sure has enough challenge for even the most experienced adventure racers. This year the race is a bit different from previous years, because we are taking a bus to the starting point to explore a new area. Our aim is to gather everyone that is or has been a member of All Terrain. Last year we had a great turn-out, that is why we continue this awesome event this year as well. So that everyone can keep up with old contacts and keep involved in our association. The barbecue will be held on Saturday the 7th of September in Eindhoven. The precise location is across the small bridge on the other side of the dommel, close to the training area. Everyone can celebrate the start of the new season by talking about all their adventures of the summer holidays and share some good food provided by our cooking committee. After all that hard training you need to get some protein to grow stronger. And since the weather is getting really nice and warm, and most All Terrainers like events where food is involved we thought we'd organize a barbeque on the campus. And after we've stuffed ourselves full with delicious food of course we need to just sit and relax so why not have a movie night right after. We'll arrange a beamer and screen and play a nice movie in the open air. The price of the event will be €7,50 p.p.  The exact location willbe disclosed as soon as we have permission from the Fire Department TU/e but we would like to go for the field between Luna and the small bridge close to our construction.

On the 28th of July we will have a little game night. At Michael's room we will play various board games while enjoying some snacks and drinks of course. If you have any fun games, please bring them with you. The costs of the evening will be €5.

We will go to centerparks the Vossemeren where an inflatable obstacle course with around 100 spectacular obstacles are waiting just for us. You don't wanna miss out on this, do you?
