Did you ever want to build your own obstacle? Fill the bushes around the campus with your own constructs?   The 14th of May the people of the All Terrain survivalrun (ATSC) are offering a workshop on how to build obstacles. We kick of the day with some general instructions, like which knots to use when. After that you are set up with a buddy that will guide you through building an obstacle. Once done, you can of course try out the freshly build obstacles.   The rest of the weekend you will get the opportunity to put your newly learned skills into practise and get even more experience by setting up obstacles. Every step will be under guidance of an experienced member of the All Terrain survivalrun.   For those that can't make it on the 14th we'll put together another instruction on Sunday the 15th. We are also looking into the possibilities of doing some knotting rehearsal on Monday the 9th, so if you are not sure about your knots, keep that blocked as well ;-).   Needless to say this awesome skill is not only handy for setting up our weekly trainings. As you might have noticed we are setting up our very own competition.

It's that time of the year again! May 13th at 19.15 hr the All Terrain GMA will be held at The Trafalgar Pub Dommelstraat 21 5611 CJ Eindhoven. The 31st board will give an overview of the last year and present the final reckoning. Hereafter the 31st board will be hammered out to let the vote for the new board happen! The proposed board (and any other submissions) will present their plans and budget of the 2022-2023 season, and will hopefully be elected as the 32nd board of All Terrain! There is no dress-code, but wear something appropriate for a restaurant/pub. Details and allowing someone to vote for you will be handled via e-mail. More information will be sent soon.

The SurvivalStrijd (“Survival Battle”) is a survival run hosted by members of Student Outdoor Sports Association Slopend in Delft each year in May. The course is straight across (and around) the TU Delft campus! Aside from hosting a beautiful run with unique scenery for contestants from all across the Netherlands, the purpose of the SurvivalStrijd is to show TU Delft students why the survival run sport is so much fun. When participating in the SurvivalStrijd this year, you can choose between five categories: 6km solo, 6km group, 9km light, 9km recreational and 9km KSR. This year we celebrate our 6th Lustrum with our very own Gala here in Eindhoven. The gala will take place on the 5th of May and you can subscribe with the following link. The costs are only 30 euros and you will get an evening with beer and wine included!

What is better than going bouldering? Going bouldering with AT'ers! For people that already go bouldering and want to know when they can expect AT'ers and for people that don't want to go bouldering every week but like to do it from time to time we will organize a monthly AT bouldering moment.   We had our first shot in March and it was superenjoyable so we will have another go at it the 30st of April. To encourage you there will be sponsoring from AT reducing the cost to 6 euro or less. Also if you already have a Monk subscription we encourage you to subscribe so we can puzzle out if we can get you some sponsoring as well ;-) (and it is nice for people to see that other people are coming).   Next to a registration here, you need to make a reservation through Toplogger.nu.   Note that for bouldering you'd like to use climbing shoes. If you don't owe any it is possible to rent them for 4 euros at Monk for the night, but be aware that there are a lot of climbers in AT so there is a fair chance that you can borrow them if you ask around. Furthermore it is handy to wear flexible clothing that protects your legs and for the ladies a sports bra is not needed, but crossed straps can be quite convenient.

The All Terrain Lustrum Gala is around the corner and we got a fun activity to prepare you for our awesome Gala. A dance lesson will be provided in which you will learn a figure that will be easy, fun, and most of all, passionate. The figure will be learnable by all levels of dancing, so if you never danced or even watched Footloose or Dirty Dancing, that is totally okay. The dance we will be learning is still a secret and you all get to reveal it during the Gala and blast away all the others. Also, if you have no partner to practice with during the session that is okay, we will pair up as best we can.   The location will be in Atlas 0.820. It is a room behind the reception desk on the ground floor of Atlas.

Do you want to show your friends, colleagues or buddies from uni or college how it is to do survival run? Than this is your chance!   The open week of the Sports Centre is coming up, meaning a week in which no sportscard is required to join the activities! Unfortunately we can't have training on Wednesday, but our awesome trainers have agreed to provide a training for us Monday the 25th of April!   If you want to bring a friend it is convenient if they can fill in this form, so we know how many buddies to arrange and they know what to wear.

The weather is getting nicer and nicer so the Activity Committee decided it was time for some traditional Dutch games, but with an All Terrain twist. All the games will be modified to use the construction in fun and creative ways. Are you up for a fun challenge and do you want to try out some old Dutch games? The event will be on the 3rd of April at 14:00 at the All Terrain construction. After the games are finished we will be doing a BBQ as well. The games and BBQ together cost only 7,- euros or less. Subscriptions will be open up to and including the 1st of April, this is not a joke. We hope to see you all there.
